3 Degrees of Freedom
Ep 169 - Time Freedom As A True North for Success with Jordan Tait
Jordan Tate is a business coach focused on helping overworked and underpaid entrepreneurs reclaim their freedom. His expertise is in reshaping businesses to harmonize financial success with personal fulfillment. Jordan embodies the lifestyle he preaches, having explored over 40 countries while running his coaching practice remotely.
Of the three degrees of freedom - location, time, and financial - Jordan prioritizes time freedom. He recognizes many entrepreneurs sacrifice too much life today while chasing tomorrow's vision of freedom. His coaching reverses this thinking, setting income and hourly rate targets that honor work-life balance from the start. Tactics involve streamlining operations, hiring strategically, and building passive income.
Jordan credits extended travel in his twenties for instilling a global, anti-workaholism mindset and passion for experiences over materialism. He advocates previewing your ideal lifestyle today, rather than outsourcing happiness to a distant retirement. Daily healthy habits cultivate this through consistent practices aligned to your values.
In covering topics like financial independence strategies, business systems leverage, and cultivating personal fulfillment, Jordan offers tactical, outside-the-box, lifestyle design coaching for burned out entrepreneurs. His message inspires reimagining work-life balance to blend, rather than balance, financial success with rich living.

I think of like our habits as the best description I've ever heard is a boat for the future self or the future. We want to live and So when I think about, I'm 32 right now, when I think about being 60, 70, 80, I want to be fit and mobile. And when I have a good social life, I want to have enjoyed travel and be, you know, feeling good about my life. And so I'm doing things today. That will make that happen. I'm not worried about the long run, like all these responsibilities. I'm just thinking about what can I do today that will create that future I want to live. And that's as simple as some exercise and reading and different things like that for me. So that's how I've looked at it. And I think that can be helpful for some people is it's not about who you are today. It's about who you want to become.
